Commission Disclosure
We offer products from a panel of finance providers and communicate the existence of a commission to all our customers through our disclosure documents.
We have commercial agreements in place with a range of dealerships, product providers and funders. Once the agreement is live, we are likely to be paid a commission for introducing you to the finance provider. The commission we receive may be pre-set but can vary and may impact the amount you pay.
Under Consumer Credit Directive rules, you are entitled to request potential commission earnings from us.
We maintain a transparency policy regarding commission disclosure requests and will willingly provide this information to all customers who request it. We will provide you with the information in good time before a regulated credit agreement or regulated consumer hire agreement is entered into, the amount (or if the precise amount is not known then the likely amount) of any commissions or fees or other remuneration payable to us.
If you want to know what we earn?
In line with legislation, if you would like us to disclose any potential commissions, please make your request to compliance@drivespeed.co.uk. Once your request is made, it will be dealt with by the Group Compliance Manager. A record of all commission requests and responses will be retained in line with our retention policy.
